Tsukim Square | Ein Hayam | Hadera

Concrete elements placed on a traffic circle at the intersection of Rehavam Ze’evi and Ha-Tsukim Streets in the ‘Ein Hayam’ neighborhood in Hadera.

The Hadera Municipality ordered the sculpture in cooperation with the Hadera Economic Development Corporation in 2017.

The installation consists of twelve hand-sculptured concrete bodies in a variety of shades.

There was tremendous significance to the correspondence with the proximity to the sea and the sandy environment of the area, and to create elements inspired by pebbles and their various shades.

The work process is comprised of layers of concrete and various coatings that, on the one hand, give strength and a natural shine on the other.

The choice of shapes and shades correspond with the proximity to the sea and the sandy environment in the area.
